So many things going on in the Steelville area and so little time!  Main street Steelville is changing almost every day with new shops opening, an art gallery and lots more.  The Soda Fountain will reopen for the season soon and features Ruby's Homemade Ice Cream.  Art & Jo has delicious gourmet coffee available.

March 23rd will bring Missouri's Poet Laureate, David Clewell to Steelville for An Evening of Caffeine & Poetry.  This is a free event and will offer wine, coffee and light appetizers.  Joey Crider, pencil artist, will be on display at the Evans House.   In April Ryan Spearman, called the jujitsu master of folk music will be here.   Ryan plays guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and fiddle.   This will be an event that will be remembered.

Have a group of friends who want a get-away?  Contact us about one of our themed weekends--perhaps a Mystery Dinner, a mancation, a girls getaway, scrapbooking--the weekends are limited only by your interest and imagination.

Spring is a great time for hiking with wildflowers in bloom, the bird's mating rituals, the fish jumping, the waters sparkling, the air clean and the outdoors alive.

Have you tried a zipline?  We have a great one.  Would you rather fish or hike?  Many great places for that here.

Do you trailer a motorcycle for get-aways or have a RV and want a real bed for a night? Frisco B&B has parking available for a trailer or RV.

If you are looking for a romantic Missouri bed and breakfast, you will find that the Frisco Street B&B, located in Steelville – the floating capital of MO – is the perfect setting for your intimate getaway. This two-story country Victorian is located in the beautiful Ozark Heritage Region of Missouri and has 4 guestrooms, including one suite, all with private bathrooms.   Each guestroom is delightfully decorated to create a unique environment for your pleasure.  Unwind in a whirling two-person Jacuzzi and then wrap yourself in a luxurious terrycloth bathrobe,  enjoy a massage, sip a warm cup of coffee, tea or cocoa prepared in your in-room coffee maker or even listen to song birds from your private balcony.  You can take a fragrant bubble bath in an antique clawfoot tub or listen to jazz in the parlor as you indulge in fresh homemade cookies. Enjoy our special fruit garnished lemonade as you breathe in the fresh mountain air while sitting on the front porch swing.  In warm weather, you’ll be comfortable in central air conditioning with ceiling fans in every room and when it’s cold outside you can enjoy a crackling fire in the parlor fireplace.  At bedtime you’ll think you’ve fallen into a cloud when you sink into your non-allergenic featherbed.  You’ll awaken to the smell of a delicious full breakfast served with silver and china in our dining room.  If you prefer a less formal atmosphere, you can dine in the gazebo on the veranda.   Enjoy a taste of country living with farm fresh eggs, meat and produce.

Sometimes it seems to us that the house has a soothing, charming personality of its own. Certainly, there is a sense of peace and timelessness about the place that melts away twenty first century cares and concerns.  As soon as you arrive you’ll understand what we mean, and you’ll leave refreshed and relaxed.

Pamper someone you love (or how about yourself?) on that special birthday, anniversary or honeymoon with a stay at the charming and romantic Frisco Street Bed & Breakfast. As you search for Steelville travel accommodations, remember that there is a place for you here with us. We hope to see you soon!
